Join your friends and the Illinois State Stock Horse Association, Inc. (ISSHA) for an unforgettable week of trail riding, dancing, and good times at the 72nd Annual 100 Mile Trail Ride. The ride is a cloverleaf-style ride with a permanent camp. If you do not wish to ride every day, you can stay back in camp and relax with your friends. A facility will be set up for chuck wagon - style meals and other activities throughout the week. Restroom s will be available at camp. Dogs are welcome, although they must be secured at all times , and walked on a leash. Dogs and horses are not allowed near the chuck wagon area. All riders must furnish feed for their animals. Hay and feed will be available for purchase at camp. Make your reservation by completing the attached entry form and return it with the $10.00 reservation fee which is applied toward the total cost of your ride. Reservations received after August 15, 2023, will be charged a $10.00 late fee in addition to the cost of the ride. You can register at the ride, however it is very much appreciated that you register early so that our caterer has an accurate number for planning.

MEETING: Tuesday Night
AWARDS NIGHT: Friday Night at 7 p.m. with a dance to follow
The State of Illinois requires EVERY HORSE or MULE to have a NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST and HEALTH PAPERS (If out of state) and any other papers necessary.
MEALS Meals are served Monday through Friday
Breakfast – 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.
Lunch – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Dinner – 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
IMPORTANT: ENTRY FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY AUGUST 15, 2023, FOR OUR CATERER TO ORDER FOOD AND PREPARE THE MENU.
There will be 1/2 day rides and full day rides.

FIVE-DAY RIDE, SEPTEMBER 4 - 8, 2023
FULL-TIME RIDE
$250.00 (Adults 14 year old and older) $140.00 (Kids under 14 years old)
( Plus $10.00 Registration/2023 Membership Fee).

PART-TIME RIDE
$50.00 per day, plus $10.00 membership for 2023.
This per day charge includes:
VISITOR PASS
Visitor Passes are $20.00 per day, per person, with a maximum purchase of two days of the five-day ride.
The Visitor Pass includes:
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP - $10.00 (August 1 – July 31).
RIDER VISITOR PASS - $10.00 per half day ride, plus $10.00 membership for 2023. This pass is for those only coming to ride and not partake in any other activities. No Meals, No Camping, No Other Activities. ***Should you want lunch or partake in other activities you will need to pay the Part-time Rider fee.
***Camping is not included in the five-day ride fee. *Camping prior to, during, and after the ride is not included. You must pay separately for your camping. All reservations must be made by calling Cari at 217.725.2657. All camping fees prior to, during, and after the ride will be charged in accordance with the rules and regulations of Middlefork State Fish and Wildlife Area.
RULES OF THE RIDE: VIOLATION OF ANY RULE MAY RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE ISSHA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS
* A trail boss and assistants have been appointed; their authority is absolute
* No rough riding, No racing
* No alcoholic beverages allowed on trails
* No stallions
* No food taken from the dining hall without permission
* Complaints against dog(s) may result in the owner being asked to leave
* The ISSHA reserves the right to reject any entry
* Quiet Hours – 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m
Camping is not included in the five-day ride fee. You must pay separately for your camping. All reservations must be made by calling Cari at 217.725.2657.
There is NO Electricity, water is available, and a shower house is 5 miles down the road is included in the camping fee. All camping fees prior to, during and after the ride will be charged in accordance with the rules and regulations of Middlefork State Fish and Wildlife.
***The ISSHA has reserved all the campsites from Friday Sept. 1st through Saturday Sept 9th. If you are coming just for the weekend and/or are not with the ISSHA 100 Mile Ride you will be sent to the overflow area. Thanks!
