From Herod, IL Post Office: Turn SOUTH on Williams Hill Rd. (.5 mi). At the top of Williams Hill take a slight LEFT onto Raum Rd. (4.5 mi). Turn sharp RIGHT onto New Hope Ln. Continue up the hill, at the top of the hill turn RIGHT into New Hope Hill Campground. Note: Raum Rd is gravel.
Join your friends and the Illinois State Stock Horse Association, Inc. (ISSHA) for an unforgettable week of trail riding, dancing, and good times at the 73rd Annual 100 Mile Trail Ride.
This ride is located in Southern, IL where you will have the privilege to ride the One Horse Gap and enjoy all the beautiful surroundings.
The ride is a cloverleaf-style ride with a permanent camp. If you do not wish to ride every day, you can stay back in camp and relax with your friends.
A facility will be set up for chuck wagon- style meals and other activities throughout the week. Restrooms will be available at camp and one shower house.
Dogs are welcome, although they must be secured at all times, and walked on a leash. Dogs and horses are not allowed near the chuck wagon area.
All riders must furnish feed for their animals.
Make your reservation by completing the attached entry form and return it with the $10.00 reservation fee.
Reservations received after July 31st, 2024, will be charged a $10.00 late fee in addition to the cost of the ride.

The State of Illinois requires EVERY HORSE or MULE to have a NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST and HEALTH PAPERS (If out of state) and any other papers necessary.
Meals are served Monday through Friday

Breakfast – 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Lunch – 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Dinner – 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
IMPORTANT: ENTRY FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY July 31st, 2024, FOR OUR CATERER TO ORDER FOOD AND PREPARE THE MENU.
There will be 1/2 day rides and full day rides.

FIVE-DAY RIDE, SEPTEMBER 2 - 6, 2024
FULL-TIME RIDE
$250.00 (Adults 14 year old and older)
$140.00 (Kids under 14 years old)
( Plus $10.00 Registration/2024 Membership Fee).

PART-TIME RIDE
$50.00 per day, plus $10.00 membership for 2024.
This per day charge includes:
VISITOR PASS
Visitor Passes are $20.00 per day, per person, with a maximum purchase of two days of the five-day ride.
The Visitor Pass includes:
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP - $10.00 (August 1 – July 31).
RIDER VISITOR PASS - $10.00 per half day ride, plus $10.00 membership for 2024. This pass is for those only coming to ride and not partake in any other activities. No Meals, No Camping, No Other Activities. ***Should you want lunch or partake in other activities you will need to pay the Part-time Rider fee.
***Camping is not included in the five-day ride fee. *Camping prior to, during, and after the ride is not included. You must pay separately for your camping.
*Camping with electricity $30 per campsite per day.
*Non-Electric camping $15 per campsite per day.
*You will need to make a camping reservation by calling Cari at 1-217-725-2657.
***All camping fees prior to, during, and after the ride will be charged in accordance with the rules and regulations of New Hope Hill Campground/Bob Buchanan.
RULES OF THE RIDE: VIOLATION OF ANY RULE MAY RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE THE ISSHA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS
* A trail boss and assistants have been appointed; their authority is absolute
* No rough riding, No racing
* No alcoholic beverages allowed on trails
* No stallions
* No food taken from the dining hall without permission
* Complaints against dog(s) may result in the owner being asked to leave
* The ISSHA reserves the right to reject any entry
* Quiet Hours - Monday-Thursday Night 12:30 a.m. – 5:30 a.m.
and Friday night - 1:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m.
Camping is $30 per night, not included in the five-day ride fee. You must pay separately for your camping.
All reservations must be made by calling Cari at 217.725.2657 by July 31, 2024!!!
*Pens are available for an additional one time fee. Please let Cari know when you call her for your camping reservation.
