100 Mile Trail Ride

COME SPEND YOUR LABOR DAY HOLIDAY WEEK WITH US!

September 2 - 6, 2019

TO BE ANNOUNCED

 Join your friends and the Illinois State Stock Horse Association, Inc. (ISSHA) for an unforgettable week of trail riding, dancing, and good times at the 67th Annual 100 Mile Trail Ride.

The ride is a cloverleaf-style ride with a permanent camp.  If you do not feel like riding every day, you can sit back at camp and relax with your friends.

A facility will be set up for chuck wagon- style meals and other activities throughout the week.  Restrooms will be available at camp.

Dogs are welcomed, although they must be secured at all times, and walked on a leash.  Dogs and horses are not allowed near the chuck wagon area. 

All riders must furnish feed for their animals.  Hay and feed will be available for purchase at camp.

Make your reservation by completing the attached entry form and return it with the $10.00 reservation fee which is applied toward your membership and/or the cost of the ride for members who have at least 30 years.

Reservations received after August 15, 2019, will be charged a $10.00 late fee in addition to the cost of the ride.

STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR ANIMALS

The State of  Illinois requires EVERY HORSE or MULE to have a NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST, OUT OF STATE HORSES AND MULE MUST HAVE HEALTH PAPERS and any other papers necessary.

 MEALS

Meals are served Monday through Friday

Breakfast – 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Lunch – 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Dinner – 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

 

IMPORTANT: ENTRY FORMS MUST BE RETURNED BY AUGUST 15, 2019, FOR OUR CATERER TO ORDER FOOD AND PREPARE THE MENU.

 

RIDE DETAILS

Ride details and schedules are announced one day in advance, if possible, and posted in the dining area.

FEES AND DUES

v  FULL-TIME RIDER FIVE-DAY RIDE SEPTEMBER 2-6, 2019 - $225.00 (Adult, 15 years old and older) $140.00 (Kids, 14 years old or younger) (includes $10.00 Registration/2017 Membership Fee).  This includes:

Ø  Registration/membership fee, meals, organized rides, organized activities, *Camping. 

v  PART-TIME RIDER - Adults (15 years old or older) - $45.00 per day, plus $10.00 membership for 2018.  This per day charge includes: 

Ø  One night camping, two meals, one day on the scheduled ride, and participation in scheduled activities for the day.

v  PART-TIME RIDER - Kids (Under 15 years old) - $30.00 per day, plus $10.00 membership for 2018.  This per day charge includes: 

 Ø  One night camping, two meals, one day on the scheduled ride, and participation in scheduled activities for the day.

v  VISITOR PASS - Visitor Passes are $15.00 per day, per person, with a maximum purchase of two days of the five-day ride.  The Visitor Pass includes:

Ø  One meal and scheduled activities for the day, excluding the organized ride.  An additional meal may be purchased for $10.00

        RIDER VISITOR PASS - $10.00 per half day ride, plus $10.00 membership for 2018.  This pass is for those only coming to ride and not partake in any other activities.  No Meals, No Camping, No Other Activities.  Should you want lunch or partake in other activities you will need to pay the Part-time Rider fee. 

 

v  ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP - $10.00 (August 1 – July 31).

  

 

RULES OF THE RIDE

Ø  A trail boss and assistants have been appointed; their authority is absolute

Ø  No rough riding

Ø  No alcoholic beverages allowed on trails

Ø  No racing

Ø  No stallions

Ø  No food taken from the dining hall without permission

Ø  Complaints against dog(s) may result in the owner being asked to leave

Ø  The ISSHA reserves the right to reject any entry

Ø  Quiet Hours - 12:30 a.m. – 5:30 a.m. (M – T) Friday night - 1:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m.

 

VIOLATION OF ANY RULE MAY RESULT IN YOU BEING ASKED TO LEAVE

THE ISSHA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS
